Probably everything that other reviewers wrote is true, and somehow this German singer and Russian pianist with German roots intentionally broke many "rules" related to the performance of "Schubert-Lieder". All I can say is that this performance touched me much more than (excellent) recordings of Fischer-Dieskau, Prey and many others. So, 5 stars/5(9).
